Join us for a 5-week after school workshop late fall. to journey in mixed media art, designed to nurture creativity, emotional expression, and a growth mindset. Mixed media art combines various materials and techniques—such as painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture—to create unique pieces that express each participant’s individuality and perspective. This multi-faceted approach encourages flexibility, allowing young artists to explore self-expression without the constraints of a single medium.
Throughout the program, participants will discover how engaging with different art forms can serve as a powerful outlet for emotions, providing stress relief and building resilience. As they layer textures, colors, and ideas, students will also develop problem-solving skills and cultivate a growth-oriented approach to challenges. In a supportive environment, TASGM fosters confidence, self-awareness, and well-being through the therapeutic benefits of art.
The following are the themes for the 5 weeks: We will use acrylics, tissue, watercolor, multiple tools to create.
1. Self-love
2. Explosive Color Splat
3. Tissue Landscape
4. Textured Nature
5. Art Dab Dab (use of different tools to create art)
